Dr. Ong Appointed to County Commission!
Demo Vice President, Dr. Jennifer Ong, has been appointed to the Commission on the Status of Women by County Supervisor Alice Lai-Bitker. Congratulations!

Dr. Ong recently graduated from the Boards and Commissions Leadership Institute, a program that has filled hundreds of priority boards and commissions seats in the Bay area with progressive people of color. The BCLI is a program sponsored by the Social Equity Caucus and Urban Habitat located in Berkeley. Nominated by the Filipina Women's Network, Dr. Ong is a member of the current class of Emerge California.
